Rediscover Marysville’s Past
The Union County Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring a special
pictorial presentation on Saturday, May 9th followed by a guided
historical walking tour of Uptown Marysville. They will conclude with a
self guided tour of the Union County Historical Society and log cabin.
Two tours are available at 9:30 a.m. and at 10:30 a.m. Each tour is
limited to 25 participants. Cost is $6.00 and includes a continental
breakfast, Historical Guide to Marysville with Map and all admissions.
Tickets may be purchased at the Union County Chamber of Commerce, 227
East Fifth Street and questions can be answered by calling the Chamber
at 937-642-6279.
All Ohio Bike Fest
The All Ohio Bike Fest will have activities going on Thursday, July
23rd through Saturday, July 25th. We can also look forward to the
Covered Bridge Festival and Festifair in Uptown Marysville that will
both be held on September 12th. For more information on these events,

Concerts in the Park
The Concerts in the Park program will take place in the Sean Doebert Memorial Amphitheater at the Paris Township Music Pavilion, located in the American Legion Park at the corner of Fifth Street and Park Avenue, unless noted otherwise on the schedule. All concerts will begin at 6:30 p.m. and last until 8:00 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to bring a lawn chair, a snack and enjoy the music. The following complimentary entertainment has been scheduled at press time and is subject to change:

Friday Nights Uptown
Let’s look forward to Spring by marking our calendars for this year’s upcoming Friday Nights Uptown events. Come out and enjoy a family-oriented evening in the heart of Marysville. Friday Nights Uptown is a chance for the community to come together, celebrate, unwind, relax and enjoy great food and music. The 2009 schedule is as follows:

Paradise Island Band - On the Courthouse Lawn from 5-9pm
? Friday, June 12th, - “Luau and Annual Rib Cook-Off”

Disc Golf Tournament
Everyone is welcome to participate in this year’s Disc Golf Tournament at Mill Valley Park South. Registration is from 8:30 to 9:45am, the players meeting will take place at 9:45am and tee off at 10am.
· Singles Tournament with open, intermediate and recreation divisions
· There might be a women’s Tournament if 4 or more register
· Possible Safari Style
· For a small additional charge, you can participate in longest drive, putting challenge, bocce disc, etc
· Mulligans cost $1.00 each, maximum of 18 allowed
